hi, this is our classic Brother electric sewing machine. it is very old. But, still works fine. Model is similar to 681B-UG brother sewing machine model 681B-UG Unfortunately, for the past few weeks, there are little problem with the foot pedal which caused slight leakage current when operate the machine. was not sure where the problem coming from. but, I try to investigate using my little knowledge about this kind of thing. At first, I am looking at the basic things like connection inside the main plug, cable that connect from main plug to the machine, whether any damage have been occur or not to its insulation/disconnect etc. However, nothing have been found So, I start to disconnect the cable that connect to the motor and light via white connector to identify the problem..what I found is one of the ground cable are damaged.
