MERCEDES W203 C180K: TEMPORARY FIX OF STEERING LEVEL ADJUSTMENT BROKEN LOCK (SOLVED)

hi all. the problem happens when I am driving on a rough road. lock just suddenly snapped and break. PROBLEM AND SYMPTOM unable to lock the steering level..and dangerous when driving because the steering level can moving around.  But the solution is easy and it DIY work. PARTS use tick wire as a temporary solution. 0 cost SOLUTION AND PROCEDURE 1) park the car safely on the level ground 2) get access to the dashboard under the steering wheel 3) remove 3 screws under dashboard panel to get access to the locking mechanism problem 4) release side panel 5) look at the picture, find the locking mechanism. can be observed end part is broken which causes the locking system not working. 6) insert thick cable or wire into a hole as in the picture. this will temporarily solve the problem. thanks a lot for reading.

MERCEDES W203 C180K: CLICKING SOUND WHEN SHIFTING GEAR. SOLVED

hi all this problem happens several years ago on my Mercedes w203 c180k at 250000+ km and  hasn't had time to fix it.. but, several weeks ago managed to find its part on the internet and purchased it.  and managed to fix it today. PROBLEM AND SYMPTOM no effect at all on the engine and performance. but, it will give clicking sound and noise when shifting the gear. PART & COST gear lever rubber Mercedes Benz Gear Level Bush Black Colour 2109920010 cost me about RM11 WORK PROCEDURE AND SAFETY 1) park the car safely on a level surface 2) secure both rear wheel 3) jack the front of the car and put the stand under the car on both sides. *when working under the car. please make sure your safety 4) under the car, get access to the gear level just beside the transmission box on the passenger side. observe the connection joint. can be seen that rubber gasket missing which needs replacement. 5) release the joint lock (refer to the picture) and remove the gear level joint from the hole 6)

MERCEDES W203 C180K CRANCKING ISSUE: FIXED BY REPLACE FUEL FILTER

Its been several years now I am driving my Mercedes w203 with cranking difficulty in the engine.  Sometimes it starts at first try..sometimes, it took longer to start the engine. Still, it will crank at the end. This symptom causing me a lot of hassle, and stress... It took me many years to finally manage to really find the root cause of the problem. At one point, I just get used to the problem and live with it. Troubleshoot the Problem: Battery and spark plug has been changed a year ago...I also think fuel filter also is still good because it's just been replaced several years ago...  I suspect it must be a fuel pump or something related to the fuel system. Therefore, decided to purchase a fuel pump and carried out fuel pump replacement work as on this link .  However, after the fuel filter has been changed, the car still showing the problem although the new pump has been installed.
