One of the main difficulties faced during troubleshoot the problem in this motorcycle was to have cover remove or dismantle. For the first-timer, it took time to locate all the screws to safely remove its cover set, without breaking. in this article, step by step cover set dismantle is shown for Modenas CT100. Hopefully, the guide will help others to perform repair and fix the problem without having the problem figuring out which nut and screw need to remove first... It depends on which area you want to remove the cover set to have access to its internal part. That's is what our intention when removing the cover set..right? Modenas motorcycle, especially CT100 require air (oxygen) as part of combustion system. And clean oxygen will provide smooth combustion process in the engine.  Thus, air filter are common part installed in motorcycle to filter air before entering the engine for mixture with fuel. Good air filter will make sure that the engine able perform reliably, smoothly, without the feeling of hesitation. Bad air filter will usually leads to loss of power, feeling of hesitation when throttle level is increased. Bad air filter ( such as dirty filter) usually caused not enough oxygen entering the combustion chamber during the combustion process.  This will lead to incomplete process of combustion. Hi semua, Sejak  beberapa hari lepas, motosikal CT100 (Figure 1) mengalami masalah tiba2 drop-in-power. Masalah ni ni berlaku ketika  keadaan full throttle. Apabila dipandu pada kelajuan sederhana sehingga ke 90% pulasan pendikit, kuasa motosikal kebiasaanyya tiada masalah. Hanya ketika full throttle sahaja, kadang2 masalah loss in power ni muncul. Hi all, for the past 14 months, I have been travel long distance around 160+km go to office and back.  Every month, average distance around 3000km and I am using my CT100 for that travel,most of the time. It is quite safe travel, although with many heavy vehicle using the same road with me. However, it become concern to me lately about my safety as I mostly left my office quite late. sometimes, its night already. so, I need to make sure that vehicle on the back can notice/see me and know what is my next move during my travel. Therefore, I decide to install extra rear light which is third brake light, turn signal and also tail light at the most visible position (decided to install on the rear storage GIVI box). Several month ago, i am facing one major problem where fuse for my modenas ct100 keep blowing whenever I replace new fuse. Figure: fuse location is marked with arrow with broken fuse, brake system lighting, signal and horn will not work. plus, the battery will not charge. So, my motocycle operate using magnet coil. So, only headlamp work. Common problem with blowing fuse is due to the short circuit somewhere in the wiring system. has anyone face the same problem as mine?  symptom: horn, signal and brake light not working, not charging the battery, headlight and taillight working perfectly..and bright as well when engine is on. current state: just change new battery, so should be no problem with battery. but now voltage in battery drop to 7V because my CT100 not charging the battery. FYI, I have used this motorcycle to commute to my workplace, which is 82 km from my home almost everyday.
