One of the main difficulties faced during troubleshoot the problem in this motorcycle was to have cover remove or dismantle. For the first-timer, it took time to locate all the screws to safely remove its cover set, without breaking.

It depends on which area you want to remove the cover set to have access to its internal part.
That's is what our intention when removing the cover set..right?
Engine Cover Set Removal Procedure (Front Side Cover Set):
1) Remove the triangle cover that covers the horn. Four screws.
2) Remove the basket by removing four screws (shown in the picture). remove the key cover.
3) Each side of the cover will have 4 screws need to be removed before able to remove each side of cover set
4) Carefully ply the cover to remove the cover set that covering the engine.
Body Cover Set Removal Procedure (Rear Side Cover Set):
1) Remove basket
2) Remove the seat by unscrewing two nuts as on the picture.
3) locate 4 screws as on the picture on each side. Top and also under it.
4) Carefully pry the cover for each side. make sure you check all screw has been removed. do not force it, otherwise, you might damage the cover.

hi arix..thanks for asking. I cant exactly remember actual sprocket I used..but, I reduce 2 point on the rear sprocket from standard factory sprocket and remain the one on the engine. and that sprocket setup has been with me all the time.
ReplyDeletein term of fuel consumption, its depend on speed as well..usually I ride full throttle, around 120-130 on the meter and that gave me 170km on the highway, and on the city ride around 150-160km. If you ride at less speed, say 90-100, it will give you further distance above 200km.
another factor that affect fuel consumption is your engine oil quality. Mine using petronas F700 semi synthetic oil replaced every 1500km. Hope this help arix
