MISTRAL FAN MSF1648: FANS SLOWING DOWN OR NOT TURNING

common issue with the fan rotating slow or difficult to rotate was due to the dust build up inside fan of grease started drying. Or sometimes due to the broken or damage capacitor. 2-3 year sold fan usually have this kind of problem due to the capacitor reaching its end of life. Figure 1: Mistral MSF1649 Stand Fan Troubleshoot: In the Mistral MSF1648 fan case, after several check, it is found that capacitor is damaged (not able to hold enough charge)..Thus lead to slowing down in rotation. Figure 2: After remove back cover, observe the motor and component. Why Capacitor Problem?: Usually, after some period of time, capacitor of the fan might not able to store enough electrical charge anymore in order to fan to rotate at optimum level. So, it is good practice to always have spare capacitor at your home just in case your to replace the capacitor of your fan. HP LAPTOP CHARGER ADP-65HB 65W NOT WORKING, WHY AND HOW TO FIX IT?

Hi all, My HP Laptop charger  suddenly not working 2-3 months ago and already managed to buy new charger. But, but, now have time to have look into old charger to troubleshoot the problem and solve it if possible. Symptom of problem with charger: no DC voltage at output dc connector. Checked the main plug fuse, and its ok. So, main problem should inside the black square converter box. In order to fix it (troubleshoot the problem or find the problem), the cover must be open and this is by breaking the black cover. Figure 1: Opening the case for charger figure above show picture after case or cover is open. then we can visually inspect the component inside the charger. Figure 2: Two of broken capacitor Figure above shows internal component of charger. input supply are from left side which will pass through some important component like rectifier, capacitors, inductors and transformer (part of converter and filter). AC supply power are converted to DC supply ...

PANASONIC F-MY-143 CEILING FAN SLOW? WHY? (SOLVED)

Hi all, last month, one of my sister in-law complaint to me that she not able to control her fan speed. and fan become very slow in term of rotating speed.. So, the fan is no use as they not feel any blowing air from the fan. First is to get the model detail: brand: panasonic model: f-my-143 5 blade fan Figure 1: Outside cover of F-MY-143 panasonic fan remove the cover to get access to the internal board. this fan different than common fan which have separate regulator circuit on the wall. This fan come with remote control, so, all the speed control circuit and motor circuit is on the same board. Figure below shows the common circuit inside the panasonic remote control fan Figure 2:electrical board in panasonic fan F-MY-143 Common part that always associated with the fan slowing down is the capacitors. figure show with arrow the suspected damage parts. one, is 0.82uF 275V capacitor , another one is 0.1 uF 275V capacitor that usuaslly smaller in dimension com...

OLD PANASONIC DVD PLAYER DVD-S35 NOT WORKING. TROUBLESHOOT THE PROBLEM

My sister in-law dvd player get broke  and he ask me to look into his player and whether it is possible or not, to fix the player. here is the picture of her dvd player dvd player with removed outer case brand: panasonic model: DVD-S35 first thing we need to do is to remove the cover of the player. once its remove, observe for any possible cosmetic damage or physical damage to the board. usually, electrical appliances consist two or more electrical boards which are analog board and digital board. Analog board is for power supply (to supply power to the main board to do it actual function) and usually consist of power conversion and step-down of power through power converter (diode rectifier usually) and transformer. analog board (brown) and digital board (green) most common problem with appliances not working (no power) comes from this analog board. Especially fuses, capacitor, thermal resistor or diode rectifier. Working analog board (supply board) usualy ...

ACER ASPIRE IDEA 500 POWER SUPPLY PROBLEM (FSP120-40GLS)

Hi, its has been 3 years that my acer aspire idea 500 power supply broken (not working). since the replacement power supply is difficult to find in here (Malaysia), I have to modified the supply cable on the connector to match my aspire idea power supply (PS). old bulky PS aspire idea with old PS which sits outside my media center  the original replacement is about £50 now at UK..While, here in my home country, no chance to find it. so, I have to find alternative way to make my idea 500 working.  one way was to use old power supply (twice the size of its original PS) and rearrange it cables to PS connector to suit the idea 500 supply. That was done (and working) 3 years ago. these pins used for removing the cable from old PS connector for rearrangement Recently, I managed to get some courage to open my dusty aspire idea 500 original PS casing to find out the source of the problem. 120W original aspire idea 500 PS model FSP120-40GLS  ...
