MODENAS CT100: AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT. WHEN?

Modenas motorcycle, especially CT100 require air (oxygen) as part of combustion system. And clean oxygen will provide smooth combustion process in the engine.  Thus, air filter are common part installed in motorcycle to filter air before entering the engine for mixture with fuel. Good air filter will make sure that the engine able perform reliably, smoothly, without the feeling of hesitation. Figure 1: Air filter for CT100 share the same part with Kriss What Happen if Air Filter is Bad? Bad air filter will usually leads to loss of power, feeling of hesitation when throttle level is increased. Bad air filter ( such as dirty filter) usually caused not enough oxygen entering the combustion chamber during the combustion process.  This will lead to incomplete process of combustion. Especially at higher rpm due to the more air capacity needed for combustion, while dirty air filter can only pass less air than required. Figure 2: Modenas CT100, air filter box loca

MISTRAL FAN MSF1648: FANS SLOWING DOWN OR NOT TURNING

common issue with the fan rotating slow or difficult to rotate was due to the dust build up inside fan of grease started drying. Or sometimes due to the broken or damage capacitor. 2-3 year sold fan usually have this kind of problem due to the capacitor reaching its end of life. Figure 1: Mistral MSF1649 Stand Fan Troubleshoot: In the Mistral MSF1648 fan case, after several check, it is found that capacitor is damaged (not able to hold enough charge)..Thus lead to slowing down in rotation. Why Capacitor Problem?: Usually, after some period of time, capacitor of the fan might not able to store enough electrical charge anymore in order to fan to rotate at optimum level. So, it is good practice to always have spare capacitor at your home just in case your to replace the capacitor of your fan. MODENAS CT100: SUDDEN DROP IN POWER WHEN AT FULL THROTTLE

Hi semua, Sejak  beberapa hari lepas, motosikal CT100 (Figure 1) mengalami masalah tiba2 drop-in-power. Masalah ni ni berlaku ketika  keadaan full throttle. Apabila dipandu pada kelajuan sederhana sehingga ke 90% pulasan pendikit, kuasa motosikal kebiasaanyya tiada masalah. Hanya ketika full throttle sahaja, kadang2 masalah loss in power ni muncul. Figure 1: Modenas CT100 Disebabkan motosikal ni digunakan utk perjalanan long distance ke tempat kerja, 82km sehala...oleh yg demikian, masalah ini perlu diselesaikan sesegera yang mungkin bagi mengelakkan masalah enjin mati di dlm perjalanan atau terkandas di tengah perjalanan.
