PLUMBING: REPAIR OR REPLACE TOILET FLUSH TANK (SOLVED)

Hi all, 

after several month of holding my wife nagging about the broken flush pump which sometime not working and sometimes work and ending water leak for hours..

Today is my limit...i am not able to hold it anymore..and i need to end this nagging thing..

so, after Jumaa' Prayer, I stop at hardware shop and asking parts for flush pump. but, since my flush tank pump are quite old, they are not able to locate and provide the part and they suggest me to buy new  flush tank instead. seller said the cheapest flush tank arr around 34 ringgit only. 

so, in the end, i ending up purchased new flush water tank for our toilet...it was different in size, different in working mechanism..and the best thing.. it is lot cheaper.

old water tank are slightly bigger than new one..and thus,with new flush water tank, I might save more water. and could save lot of money fixing it if its broken because i just need to replace the rubber cover as this new flush tank operate with more simple mechanism compare to old flush tank pump

cost of new flush tank is RM36, around GBP7 which is quite cheap. Even hire person to fix this problem will cost more.

removing the old flush tank also quite easy. follow this step.
1) off the water source

2) release the screw pipe from source to tank.
3) release the tighten plastic under flush tank that hold pipe to the sit toilet bowl.

4) remove flush top cover
5) remove two nuts that hold the flush tank.

6) then, carefully remove old flush tank.
7) new installation should be in reverse order.

**please add white tape for each part that have water flow. this is to prevent water leak.
**in my case, I use old pipe that connect flush tank to toilet bowl. Installation of new flush tank require me to cut the pipe little bit to accommodate bottom part of  the tank.
